Kilfrost appoints technical manager

Kilfrost Ltd has appointed Michael Reynolds as technical manager within its Speciality Fluids Division.

Kilfrost is recognised as a global leader in safety critical frost protection chemistry and rheology.

Michael joins the third generation, family company from AkzoNobel where he was technical lead working as part of the thermal management team carrying out performance coatings research.

He brings with him a wealth of technical skills from physical and organic chemistry, biochemistry and physics which has resulted in more than 20 published scientific papers, several presentations, and guest lectures at international conferences.

For three years, Michael was a post-doctoral research fellow at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility in Grenoble conducting research into high energy X-ray techniques for nanotechnology and soft condensed matter, following his PhD in molecular, structural and physical chemistry.
