Low-carbon technology company, ZERO, has signed a deal to become the only UK distributor of a range of Gapsal large capacity heat pumps.
The company’s new range of Gapsal large capacity heat pumps (models IKS 40T, IKS 60T, and IKS 100T) provide a perfect ‘fit-and-forget’ solution, delivering virtually maintenance-free, renewable heating.
ZERO’s managing director, Finian Parrick (pictured), said: “ZERO is thrilled to be the only UK distributer for our range of Gapsal heat pumps.”
He continued: “The inverter compressor featured in the Gapsal range monitors and adjusts the amount of refrigerant transferred according to temperature conditions and heating requirements, removing the need for the system to continuously stop and start, and thereby reducing energy consumption. When high temperatures are required, the compressor operates at maximum speed, but on average the system will only need to operate at approximately 50% capacity, making the compressor highly efficient and economical.”
Gapsal heat pumps are ideal for buildings with higher heating requirements, such as flats, factories, schools and public buildings. Multiple heat pumps can be cascaded for use in small boiler plants, and the range can be utilised in the construction of heating and cooling systems with a choice of configurations that can deliver up to 1mW capacity.
