Worcester, Bosch Group has continued its commitment to developing the installers of tomorrow through its sponsorship of a brand new training centre.
Worcester Bosch Group extends support to apprentices
The new Steve Willis Training facility is to open in Burgess Hill, West Sussex in time for a September intake of new apprentices and will be supplied with a number of Worcester products which will be used regularly by the trainees.

Steve Willis Training, which has an additional centre in Portsmouth, offers the building engineering services industry access to high quality training and assessment programmes across the South of England and has moved to develop this pledge by opening a new location adjacent to its existing base at Burgess Hill.

With more than 60 young people already in training on its Advanced Gas Apprenticeship programme, the new facility means both the plumbing and electrical sectors can access the same high quality apprenticeship training programmes.

Worcester's decision to provide the new training centre with a range of market leading products reaffirms its status as one of the chief supporters of installer development in the UK.

The leading supplier of domestic heating and hot water systems has already provided a selection of Greenstar gas and oil-fired boilers as well as a complete solar thermal system to Steve Willis Training, and is set to continue to offer additional products to the new centre.

'Worcester has offered ongoing support to our training centres for a number of years,' said managing director Steve Willis. 'By supplying the company with some of its latest products, Worcester is ensuring our apprentices can be trained using the most innovative technology available.

'In addition to training appliances, Worcester has also provided Greensource air to air heat pumps for the new building. As these can be used both to cool and heat the classroom and office, they are not only making us energy efficient and keeping our heating bills down, but are also creating an accommodating atmosphere for our customers, staff and apprentices.'
