Viessmann's boilers respond to firefighters' call

Firefighters in Bolton no longer feel out in the cold now the town's main fire station has been equipped with new heating and hotwater systems.
Viessmann
Viessmann came to the rescue to meet the station's heating and hotwater loads by installing four condensing boilers at 66kw each.

Firecrews will be relying on the support of the four Viessmann Vitodens 300 boilers and the boilers' cascade system used at Bolton's Central fire station is blazing a trail for others to follow.

The system ensures loads and demand are closely matched so the heating can operate effectively even at a low turndown ratio such as 16:1.
