Vent-Axia forges partnership with Mantle Panel building system
[firstParagraph]
Ventilation equipment manufacturer Vent-Axia has partnered with Surrey-based Mantle Panel, the company behind the UK-manufactured Mantle Building System.
The deal will see Mantle Panel specify Vent-Axia's Lo Carbon Sentinel Kinetic mechanical ventilation with heat recovery system (MVHR) for new build properties and light commercial applications.
The company explained: 'Vent-Axia and Mantle Panel have joined forces to streamline the supply chain by reducing the number of suppliers and bring significant benefits to new build developments with a high level of insulation.
'With all buildings being built under the principle of 'build tight - ventilate right', optimising ventilation and heat recovery is key to providing a comfortable environment. Vent-Axia's Sentinel Kinetic is ideal for increasingly air tight homes, offering good air quality and also maintaining it, a key issue in the new Part F of the Building Regulations.'
The Mantle Building System uses 'super-insulated' composite materials and is designed to provide a thermally efficient and structural solution. Vent-Axia's Lo Carbon Sentinel Kinetic wholehouse mechanical ventilation with heat recovery system consumes less energy than it recovers, is listed in SAP Appendix Q and offers 90 per cent heat recovery.
