Vaillant MD to step down

Jim Moore, Vaillant Group managing director, has confirmed that he will be leaving at the end of July to take on a new role outside the company.

He has led the company in the UK since 2004 and during that time has developed the Vaillant Group UK business to be one of the most successful markets globally for the group.  Jim has worked closely with the company to ensure that a professional handover is achieved with minimum disruption to the normal daily business is experienced.

At the start of 2016, Jim laid down the tracks for future growth with ‘New Horizon’ – a new strategic vision to grow the business’ one off installer market share, create clear channel specific offers and refocus its Vaillant and Glow-worm brands in the markets where they can deliver the greatest value. This strategy is positively growing the business and will continue to be developed as we move forward into 2017 and 2018.

Klaus Jesse will assume responsibility for the UK and Ireland on 1 August 2016. Klaus has worked for Vaillant Group in several leading positions since 1985. Prior to taking over the management of the group’s international export activities, he was responsible for Vaillant in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As regional director for the UK and Ireland, he will report directly to the managing director for sales, marketing and service, Dr Andree Groos, at Vaillant Group in Germany.
