Water leaks can cause substantial damage to a commercial property, especially if they go unnoticed. Sontay has a range of sensors that can monitor for the presence of a leak and protect the building and equipment from water damage. Its new A5 guide gives an overview of the relevant Sontay products for the application; with pictorial diagrams and technical information, the document provides all the information users might require.
The Sontay range has been specifically designed for both localised and zonal leak detection, as well as for easy integration within a building management system (BMS). The sensors can be installed in pipes, air handling units (AHUs), underfloor heating and for monitoring fluid leaks in a data centre. Sontay also has several types of sensitive elements available for these applications. They are compatible with the alarm unit, which provides a relay output for integration with the BMS using LED indication and audible alarm.
