Sime has appointed Richard Nicholls as director of UK operations and will replace Paul Linley, who has moved to Australia to head up Hunt Heating, Sime's trade partner in the country.
Mr Nicholls will be based at the company's UK head office in Castleford and will be responsible for Sime's strategic growth plans in the UK.
He comes to the role from heating and plumbing distributer Wolseley where he spent 17 years in a variety of roles, most recently as national sales manager of Plumb Center's non-residential division.
