Plumb and Parts Center and its suppliers have linked up with England rugby stars James Haskell and Phil Greening to raise £14,000 for two charities.
Teams from Plumb and Parts, Baxi, Bristan, Fernox, Grundfos, Honeywell, Ideal Standard, Stelrad, Just Trays, Mira Showers, Myson, Sentinel, Worcester Bosch and Twyford Bathrooms battled it out on the golf course, with a charity hole, sponsored by Fernox, on the 17th for donations.
In the evening, guests were joined by James Haskell and Phil Greening for a charity auction. Suppliers donated items to bid on, including a signed South Africa rugby shirt, a tour of Twickenham and a signed glove from golfer Colin Montgomery.
The money raised was split between two charities: specialist care centre Castel Froma and Armed Forces charity, Scotty's Little Soldiers, which was established in 2010 by Nikki Scott, whose husband Corporal Lee Scott was killed in Afghanistan.
Castel Froma helps people disabled by brain conditions live fuller lives. It cares for up to 500 people, aged between 21 and 93, with brain injuries, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions.
