Rapid Energy invests to expand industrial HVAC fleet

Rapid Energy, a specialist provider of rapid-response and mission-critical temperature-control hire solutions, has announced a major investment in its Industrial HVAC fleet, marking a significant step in the company’s continued growth and strategic expansion.

Julien Fougere, chief executive of Rapid Energy

The investment includes a substantial addition of industrial HVAC equipment, notably chillers and heat pump chillers, significantly increasing Rapid Energy’s cooling capacity. Once deployed across the company’s nationwide fleet, these assets will expand the availability of large-scale temporary cooling and heating solutions for sectors including healthcare, facilities management, manufacturing, district heating and critical infrastructure.

This expansion further strengthens Rapid Energy’s ability to support both emergency response and planned infrastructure works, enabling organisations to maintain operational continuity during outages, maintenance and system upgrades.

Julien Fougere, chief executive of Rapid Energy, said: “This investment represents a major milestone in Rapid Energy’s growth journey.

The expansion of our cooling fleet, particularly our heat pump chiller capability, enhances our ability to deliver flexible, lower-carbon temporary heating and cooling solutions at scale across the UK. We are continuing to invest in our fleet, technology and people to meet increasing demand from our customers.”

The investment supports Rapid Energy’s broader strategy of scaling its fleet, engineering capability and technology platform, while reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for mission-critical temperature-control solutions.

With a significantly expanded cooling fleet, Rapid Energy is well positioned to support organisations transitioning toward lower-carbon operations while maintaining resilience in critical environments.
