Bookings are now being taken for courses at Panasonic's PRO Academy in Bracknell.
The recently opened Panasonic PRO Academy is part of Panasonic's investment programme for the UK, offering training for contractors, installers and specifiers with all of the company's heating & cooling systems.
Kitted out with working units from Panasonic's ECOi VRF, FS Multi and Aquarea systems, the training room also demonstrates the latest innovations to the gas-driven GHP system - and the company's wide range of controllers, giving trainees the opportunity to learn about the new products as well as design, installation and commissioning skills.
Training and technical manager, David Livingstone will be running a number of half-day, one day and longer courses covering three levels: Design and selection, installation, and commissioning and trouble-shooting.
Training courses started last month covering both the VRF ranges and the Aquarea air-to-water heat pump products. More courses will be added during 2012.
Speaking at the opening of the facility, country manager Marc Diaz said: 'We are proud to offer this vital support service for our distributors, their customers as well as consultants and end-users too. There is no substitute for practical experience and our ProAcademy is designed to bridge the gap between text-book theory and hands-on learning.
