Powrmatic has launched its 2015 apprenticeship programme with vacancies for two manufacturing/engineering apprentices.
The company’s long-running manufacturing and apprenticeship programme provides ‘on the job’ training in its manufacturing facility, combined with tailored secondary education to provide the skills necessary for a career in engineering at craft or technician level.
During their apprenticeship, the 2015 apprentices will gain an NVQ qualification, as well as a City & Guilds or BTEC technical certificate. They will also have further advancement opportunities to progress to HNC or HND level.
Powrmatic’s general manager Adrian Walker said: 'As a UK manufacturer Powrmatic is fully committed to supporting local young people while investing in the development of skills our industry will need in the future.'
