Sheffield-based Powerminster Gleeson Services has renewed its contract with Incommunities (formerly Bradford Community Housing Trust) for a further four years.
The contract, valued at £7.4m, will involve providing gas servicing and maintenance for 19,000 Incommunities' homes in the Bradford district.

It will include an annual scheduled service to every household and a 24 hour emergency response service through its call centre.

Powerminster Gleeson Services will shortly appoint a resident liaison officer whose role it will be to communicate with tenants before and after their boiler servicing.

'It will also introduce all the six foreign languages spoken in the Bradford area to its correspondence with residents to promote better communication.

This is the first contract to be awarded through the Northern Housing Consortium Framework, for which Powerminster Gleeson Services has become an approved supplier, after meeting its criteria.

Powerminster Gleeson Services has been providing repair and maintenance services to rented homes in the district since 1996 when the properties were owned by Bradford Council. The company has a regional office in Bradford and employs 40 gas engineers in the area.
