PME renamed Carillion Planned Maintenance

PME, the mechanical and electrical maintenance services arm of Carillion plc, is changing its name to Carillion Planned Maintenance, effecttve from May 1.
The acquisition of Alfred McAlpine in February drove Carillion's decision tp update PME's business name to convey its parent company's values and reflect better its core business.

PME was acquired by Carillion in March 2005.

PME's position as a leading UK m&e maintenance service provider was strengthened with Carillion's acquisition of Alfred McAlpine in February 2008. PME's employee numbers have grown from 3,500 to 4,600 and its turnover has increased from £175m to £650m.
