Tendra Technical Services acquires The James Mercer Group and Fletchers Engineering

Tendra Technical Services has announced the acquisition of technical building services company The James Mercer Group and HVAC specialist Fletchers Engineering Ltd.

Tendra is a newly established group uniting UK technical services businesses across the built environment. The company initially consists of The James Mercer Group Ltd, Fletchers Engineering Ltd and Coat Facilities Group Ltd. It combines regional expertise with national ambition, leveraging shared capabilities, operational best practices, and strategic acquisitions to create long-term value for customers, employees, and stakeholders.

The James Mercer Group, originally called James Mercer (Preston), was founded in 1941 and is a regional market leader with operations across North-West England from offices in Preston (HQ) and Liverpool. It serves end-markets including defence, healthcare, education, as well as corporate and industrial markets. Key services include M&E (mechanical and electrical), plumbing, drainage, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and maintenance.
