Plumb Center hosts charity golf day

Plumb Center and Parts Center has held a charity golf day to help Action for Children (AFC), a charity helping the UK's most vulnerable and neglected young people.
Held at Ingon Manor Golf & Country Club, near Stratford-upon-Avon, the day was supported by 13 key suppliers. So far, the day has raised more than £8,000 and money is still coming in.

The event included a sportsmen's evening, hosted by former England, Liverpool and West Ham footballer Neil 'Razor' Ruddock and comedy from Dom Thomas, who is set to appear in TV's Benidorm.

Money was also raised through an auction, raffle and a sponsored nearest-the-hole competition.

Baxi, Vaillant, Worcester, Ideal Heating, Myson, Fernox, Grundfos, Ideal Standard, Twyfords, Bristan, Just Trays, Stelrad and Mira, supported the day.

Myson took the day's team prize with Fernox named the Best Endeavour Team.
