Plumb Center, Wolseley's specialist plumbers merchant, is celebrating the success of its 2000th online trainee.
Ryan Meakin, sales adviser at Plumb Center in Burslem, became the company's 2000th person to successfully complete 'Training @'.
Steve Ashmore, managing director of Plumb Center, said: 'Training@ is a catalyst for career development and has been designed to ultimately improve customer service by increasing our employees' product and general business knowledge. Customers appreciate well trained staff who know what they are talking about'.
Employees can take advantage of the flexibility of e-training by completing a course in their own time, at their own pace.
Training@ is made up of compulsory and optional modules which are tailored to each of Wolseley's businesses. For example, Plumb Center employees can study bathrooms, domestic boilers and central heating, in addition to core subjects such as health and safety.
