Pink Training Academy invites prospective students

Last summer Hull manufacturer Ideal Boilers and Derby-based Pink Plumbing joined forces to develop a local specialised training academy for women in the plumbing and heating industry.

The Academy has already enjoyed success with the first cohort of students gaining their introduction to plumbing in the winter term. Now, founder Philippa Cunningham is opening the doors of the Pink Training Academy in Derby on Saturday 28 February to local women and girls interested in gaining information and insight into the opportunities on offer via careers in construction.

The Open Day will commence at 10am and Philippa and her team will be offering information, coffee, pastries and useful advice for women about how to get into plumbing and construction.
