Panasonic unveils international awards scheme

Panasonic has launched its first PRO Awards for the heating and cooling industry. The new initiative aims to celebrate excellence in the design, specification, installation and commissioning of Panasonic heating and cooling systems.
The company is inviting entries from architects, consultants, distributors, engineers and installers whose projects demonstrate flair and innovation, and showcase sustainable design, efficiency, cost effectiveness and aesthetics.

Projects from across Europe are eligible and must have been completed between 1 January 2012 and 31 July 2014. Entries will be judged by a prestigious panel of international judges with expertise in architecture, building services and the heating/cooling industry.

Head of marketing heating and cooling systems at Panasonic Europe, Jose Alves, said: 'We are delighted to be launching the very first Panasonic PRO Awards and are very much looking forward to seeing the entries from across the UK and showcasing the success of these exciting projects. We aim to build these Awards to become an established platform on which to celebrate excellence within our industry.'

The awards are open to projects featuring air conditioning, heating and/or cooling systems that have been completed primarily using Panasonic heating and cooling systems, in a residential, public authority or commercial environment.

Entries are invited in the following categories:
· Best Residential Project (single dwelling)
· Best Residential Project (multi-dwelling)
· Best Residential Project (social housing)
· Best Commercial Air Conditioning Project
· Best Hotel Project
