Nortek makes three new appointments

Lee Polden (pictured right) moves from the technical/design department at Reznor’s main office in Folkestone to area sales manager for the brand in the South East. Maria Essl heads up Nortek’s new national service team, while marketing communications executive Lisa Adams co-ordinates internal and external communications.

Lee has been with Reznor for 16 years. He will be using his technical knowhow and drawing on previous sales/customer service experience to improve support for customers in the South East. Responsible for designing cost-effective, energy-efficient HVAC solutions, Lee is the main point of contact for all aspects of Reznor system installations, aftersales support and new project development in the region.

Maria has been involved in service support for the past 11 years. Now, following her promotion to service team leader, she has taken on responsibility for Gas Safe SACS/ OFTEC registered agents located throughout the UK and heads up a dedicated service team based at Nortek’s UK headquarters in Brierley Hill, West Midlands and its office in Folkestone. Both teams are part of the company’s new national service team, which has been created to consolidate resources and deliver improved response times.

Lisa (pictured right) joined the company as marketing assistant in 2011. As well as overseeing Nortek’s online/social media presence, she will work with colleagues at group companies in Belgium and France to maximise PR opportunities across Europe. She will also create customer newsletters and technical bulletins, support Nortek’s sales team and co-ordinate charity fundraising initiatives.
