NIBE expands into biomass

NIBE has launched a comprehensive new range of wood-burning boilers as it expands into the biomass market.
NIBE expands into biomass
Designed to provide the highest levels of energy efficient space heating and hot water for domestic applications, the MCS-accredited range includes the NIBE Pellux 100, the larger Pellux 200 combi-boiler and log-burning Vedex 3300.

Suitable for homes and other small properties, NIBE says the new biomass range presents the ideal solution for both new builds and as a sustainable, effective replacement for conventional oil or LPG boilers. The high performance, compact boilers are specifically designed to ensure ease of installation and maintenance, whilst intelligent, intuitive controls allow for simple operation and optimum results.

Phil Hurley, managing director at NIBE, said: 'We are very excited to be branching out into the biomass market in the UK. NIBE is already an established, leading player in the heat pump sector, but we see an important future for biomass as a vital part of the UK's clean energy mix.'
