NIA launches new affiliate membership

Non-insulation organisations now have the chance to join as an affiliate member of the National Insulation Association (NIA).
From 1 October 2011 the new affiliate membership will be open to a range of organisations including charities, trade associations and suppliers.

The NIA has doubled its membership of installers and manufacturers in the last six years, and has seen a growing interest from organisations wishing to join the Association who do not currently meet the membership criteria.

The new affiliate membership will be open to organisations such as charities, trade associations, component suppliers, membership service providers and suppliers to the industry. Companies involved in the construction industry but are not installers or manufactures of insulation products are also welcome as well as companies involved in environmental services.

The affiliate membership will offer the following benefits:

• Company details listed on the NIA public website
• Access to the members only area of the website
• Regular e-briefs on policy, industry news and events
• Free quarterly members newsletter
• Use of affiliate logo

Bev Coombe, membership and communications manager at the NIA said: 'We are very excited to open this new category of membership, which will enable us to offer our services to the wider construction and environmental community.'

For more information about the new affiliate membership, the NIA and its services to the insulation industry please contact Bev Coombe: bev.coombe@nationalinsulationassociation.org.uk
