New mechanical ventilation units by RDZ
The new trends in the building industry aim at reducing energy consumption and limiting heat loss as well as heat load. That is why current buildings are airtight structures, where indoor comfort and health can be achieved only by suitable devices which are able to provide the necessary air exchange without wasting energy. In order to meet the specific requirements of those modern buildings, RDZ offers the new CHR units. These performing, efficient, silent appliances can be installed in the false ceiling or in technical rooms.
Energy saving and high performance in different models
CHR 100, CHR 200 and CHR 400 work quite simply by extracting the stale air from the polluted sources (such as kitchen and bathroom) and supplying fresh air coming from outside to the ‘living’ rooms. They differ in their performance but their layout and technology are very similar.
CHR 100 is characterised by the following specifications: standard air flow of 150m3/h, maximum electrical power of 146W, air duct connections of Ø 125mm and dimensions (lxhxd) of 1054x214x628mm. The main features of CHR 200 are: standard air flow of 200m3/h, maximum electrical power of 260W, air duct connections of Ø 150mm and dimensions (lxhxd) of 1124x267x628mm. CHR 400 (1375x271x860 mm) uses air duct connections of Ø 200mm and reaches a standard air flow of 400m3/h and a maximum electrical power of 290W.
All models are equipped with a high efficiency (~90%) polystyrene heat exchanger and constant flow rate EC motors inside a pre-painted galvanized steel plate frame with internal thermo-acoustic insulation. The use of G3 and M5 filters on the supply line and G4 filter on the extract line ensures the right protection of the exchanger while offering excellent filtration of the new air introduced into the room.
Each unit is also provided with by-pass for free-cooling, four NTC sensors, antifreeze function and dirty filter detectors. A condensate drain kit or similar accessory is compulsory to ensure the right functioning of the appliance.
Easy and reliable control
CHR 100, CHR 200 and CHR 400 can be managed by digital input, One control panel or RDZ electronic controller connected to the units via ModBus. In particular, One control panel has been specifically designed to be combined with this range of units. It is a user-friendly device with LCD, and it is used to control CHR operations and to detect room parameters thanks to the integrated temperature and humidity sensors. One control panel has an elegant and simple design, and it can be installed on the wall.
