Mr Howlett boasts 18 years’ experience in the water industry where he has been involved in operating and maintaining some of the largest assets in the UK water industry, most notably spending 16 years with Severn Trent Water.
Over the past decade, he has managed a wide portfolio of businesses in capital goods spanning several sectors, including construction and mining, border security and energy storage.
Mr Howlett commented: “Joining Xylem feels like coming home; it’s an industry I have been passionate about since graduating in Water and Environmental Management at university all those years ago.
