NAPIT Registration has been appointed by the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) to support them in a review of the Benchmark Scheme.
The scheme is already recognised by government as a component part of meeting the energy efficiency elements (Part L) of Building Regulations.

NAPIT beat off competition from other HHIC members to win the role, which will see the scheme for the installation, commissioning and servicing of heating and hot water products brought up to date to reflect changing industry needs and embracing new technologies.

'The Benchmark Scheme enjoys widespread support from the industry and has a tremendous opportunity to stand at the centre of safe and efficient installations for a wide range of heating and hot water products,' Roger Webb, HHIC's director commented. 'We chose NAPIT to help us conduct the review because we found that their vision for the scheme, and pragmatic approach, fitted perfectly with our own aspirations,' he added.
