Heating manufacturer Myson has merged its underfloor heating business with its sister company Vogel & Noot to create one larger division called Myson Floortec.
The underfloor heating division will have a new central distribution centre in Birtley, Gateshead and an 'enlarged sales force and administration team'.

Barry Lynch, Myson's group product manager said:'Through this reorganisation and new investment, we will be able to provide more new products, greater technical support and dedicated deliveries.'

In 2007, the UK domestic heating market was valued at £1.3 billion with demand for underfloor heating increasing by 20% year on year.

Myson Floortec will have a training and technical support centre.

Lynch added:'Myson has been at the forefront of the underfloor heating revolution and with Myson Floortec, we will continue to advance and innovate in this rapidly growing market.'

With factories in Gateshead, Hull, Bolton and Newcastle West in Ireland, Myson offers radiators, fan convectors, underfloor heating, towel warmers and heating controls. Myson is part of the Rettig group of companies, a Finnish, family-owned business.
