Mansfield Pollard MD wins award

Mansfield Pollard’s managing director, Joanna Robinson, has been named ‘Woman of the Year’, Medium Sized Business, at this year’s Barclays Yorkshire Women in Business Awards.

Mansfield Pollard’s managing director, Joanna Robinson, has been named ‘Woman of the Year’, Medium Sized Business, at this year’s Barclays Yorkshire Women in Business Awards.

The judges were impressed with Joanna’s rapid career progression from financial controller to managing director and the vision which she has created for the development of the business, including restructuring the senior management team.

She also won the Corporate Leader of the Year award at the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards in November.  

She became managing director of Mansfield Pollard in early 2013 and established a clear direction for the development of the business, promoting a culture based on customer focus, quality, integrity, innovation and fun.

Joanna’s leadership has been characterised by her development of a clear strategy for the future development of the business and by her willingness to engage with others, encourage team development, invest in people, and take measured risks all of which have contributed to Mansfield Pollard's recent success.

Air management expert Mansfield Pollard produces an innovative product range  including air handling units, kitchen canopies, air conditioning systems and acoustic control systems, with customers worldwide. The company now employs 150 staff, sales were up over 30% in its last fiscal year and major business wins have seen its products providing air management solutions in locations as diverse as Azerbaijan, Dubai and all over the UK.
