Kershaw wins £2m contract

Kershaw Mechanical Services has won a contract worth around £2m to install the mechanical package, at the new Discovery Academy in Stoke-on-Trent.

Mechanical installation works to be undertaken by Kershaw in the two-storey building include full plant room, underfloor heating, air conditioning and a boiler heating system.

The company will also be producing the fully co-ordinated CAD drawings to encompass all services, incorporating anti-clash technology, for the project.

Around 1,350 pupils will benefit from the new, state-of-the-art building, which is due to open in September 2013.
