J S Wright, the building services provider, has appointed a new health and safety advisor.

J S Wright, the building services provider, has appointed a new health and safety advisor.

Chris Barnes will work to maintain the highest standards of health and safety at the company’s worksites across the hotel, residential, social housing, student accommodation, leisure and commercial sectors.

Based at J S Wright’s London office, he will also serve the company’s Birmingham and Bristol offices. 

Born and raised in Australia, Chris has five years of experience in Australia’s oil & gas construction industry. He previously worked for a UK M&E contractor serving the rail industry as a Health & Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) assistant manager responsible for H&S compliance.   

A technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and an Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor, he also holds a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety and other qualifications transferred from Australia.
