J S Wright appoints health and safety lead

Mechanical and electrical building services specialist J S Wright has expanded its management team with the appointment of Emma Plant as health and safety manager.

Located at the London office of the Birmingham-based business, Ms Plant has worked in health and safety management for M&E contractors on residential to industrial sites of all sizes across London for more than four years, and has a total of over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry.

She will manage and continuously improve work site safety at the growing number of multi-occupant residential schemes served by J S Wright’s three offices in Aston, Bristol and London, as the company continues to expand its services into off-site construction and facilities management.

With a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety completed through training provider Astutis, and working towards an NVQ Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety, Ms Plant has joined J S Wright’s Health and Safety, Quality and Aftercare team led by associate director Toby Guise.

Mr Guise commented: “Emma’s appointment underlines J S Wright’s commitment to workplace safety, as the ongoing expansion of our services and legal compliance requirements have been accompanied by a continuously increasing focus on all aspects of health and safety and quality.”
