Integral, the UK’s largest independent property maintenance company, has taken the industry leading step of appointing a dedicated corporate social responsibility (CSR) resource at director level.
Lee Jones, who takes up this new position, has more than 20 years of building services and engineering experience.

Lee's role will be to provide energy and environmental consultancy services for clients and to advise on key CSR issues.

Integral already undertakes considerable CSR-related activities and it will be Lee's responsibility to develop existing initiatives and to apply a co-ordinated strategy across Integral's 15 regional offices and workforce of more than 2,400 employees.

'Integral provides maintenance services to thousands of commercial and residential buildings, each of which consumes energy and water, and is a source of carbon emissions, waste, and pollution,' said managing director Bryan Glastonbury.

'These businesses are being called on to manage their energy usage better and minimise their environmental impact. Integral has the skills and the services to help its customers meet these objectives by offering innovative and cost-effective solutions.

'Lee's appointment unifies our expertise and will enable us to develop the range of services we can offer customers.'

Lee will be advising Integral clients on anything: lighting management systems; energy management strategies for multi-occupier buildings; the use of low energy-wastage materials and insulatio;, water saving practices and much more.
