Fernox has been welcomed into the membership of the Industrial and commercial Energy Association (ICOM), joining a number of other water treatment specialists within the group.
Formed in 1964, Fernox was the world’s first water treatment company and markets a range of products and services globally; encompassing chemical water treatment, traditional plumbing products, equipment and consumables for renewable technologies.
ICOM Director Ross Anderson said: “Effective water treatment is essential for the reliable performance and longevity of many heating products so we are delighted that Fernox has decided to join the association. I have no doubt the company’s knowledge and expertise will prove to be invaluable in helping to inform new standards, as well as developing and promoting best practice.”
ICOM is a membership-based trade association that is instrumental in the development of product and installation standards, working closely with governments, professional bodies and associations at National and European level.
