Heating appliance firm Rinnai UK has appointed Hyco Manufacturing Ltd to distribute its gas water and space heaters.
Hyco will distribute Rinnai's water heating and space heating gas appliances throughout the country and promises next day delivery for its stock items.
Rinnai has been making tankless water heaters for more than 30 years with operations in twenty countries.
'Hyco already market a wide range of electric water and space heating equipment,' said Kirsty McHugh, Hyco's commercial director.
'I see this agreement with Rinnai UK as bringing us complementary hi-tec gas powered products to further enhance our already extensive electrical range,' she said.
Rinnai UK was established in 2003 to meet UK demand for Rinnai products.Rinnai has offices and a warehouse in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Rinnai's former UK distributor was Drugasar Ltd.
Geoff Hobbs, Rinnai UK's managing director, said 'Hyco, with their brand new distribution depot and established contacts, including those with independent plumbers merchants, give Rinnai the facility to address the new markets for which its products are so ideally suited'.
A Rinnai 26i continuous flow water heater can support up to three shower units simultaneously and several can be coupled together for greater capacity if required. The newest model in the Rinnai range is the 16i with slightly lower output, supporting up to two showerheads. Both completely remove the need for hot water storage tanks with wasteful standby losses and other associated problems.
