HVCA has finalised a partnership arrangement with Exor Management Services which is designed to provide Association members with additional business opportunities in the public sector.
Exor is an independent provider of accredited supplier purchasing databases that are currently used by 120 public sector organisations, including local authorities, housing associations and universities.

The HVCA/Exor partnership will enable Association members to apply for inclusion on the Exor database at special rates.

Once accredited, these companies will be offered listings under the appropriate categories on the wide range of databases currently being used by Exor clients.

'We are delighted to agree this partnership deal with HVCA, and are certain that we can provide many valuable benefits to those members that decide to join us,' commented Exor managing director Ian McKinnon.

HVCA head of commercial and legal Roderick Pettigrew explained that the Association's independent member inspection and assessment regime - which was introduced for all new and existing members in 2003 - lay at the heart of the Exor deal.

'HVCA's is committed to developing 'deemed to satisfy' arrangements that will offer our members automatic entry on to - or fast-track access to - discrete contractor pre-qualification lists,' Pettigrew added.

'The Association views its partnership with Exor as just such an arrangement, which it believes will be welcomed in particular by members active in the public sector.'

Exor Management Services was established in 1997 to provide an outsourced supply chain service, including supplier spend analysis, to public sector organisations.
