Honeywell sets up support for commercial buildings market

Honeywell has established a Building Group to help and advise consultants and others who use, maintain, design or specify hvac, central heating, water and other systems.
'The newly formed team of experts will make it easy for companies working in the buildings industry by freely putting expertise at their fingertips,' said Nick Hunt, UK and Ireland National sales director for Honeywell Environmental and Combustion Controls.
'Some companies may not be aware of the full Honeywell product range for the buildings industry, which comprises well over 6000 products including standalone and web-enabled controllers; sensors, thermostats and other field devices; gas and water valves; actuators and inverters; and burner and boiler controls.
Meanwhile, Honeywell has appointed a new business development manager for its Water Controls business.
'Honeywell provides an extensive range of valves for water control, pressure reduction and regulation, backflow prevention and system balancing,' explained Mr Hunt.
'We are developing our markets for these products, which satisfy the needs of both the commercial and domestic buildings markets. They include brass-bodied plumbing products and large cast iron valves for water mains supplies.'
