Hitachi partners with Secon

Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe is continuing to expand its distribution network with the appointment of solar thermal and renewables specialists, Secon.

Based in Sunderland, Secon supplies high quality renewables products to its trade customer base throughout the UK and Ireland.

Effective immediately, Secon will offer the full range of Yutaki mono and split air source heat pumps, supported by their own in-house technical support team. All products will benefit from Hitachi’s generous five-year manufacturer product warranty.

Andrew Hooper, UK heating manager, Johnson Controls – Hitachi Air Conditioning, commented: “Secon has been in the business since 1998 and has built up a loyal customer base of renewables installers.

“Our range of Yutaki heat pumps are well engineered, have some of the best COPs on the market and offer exceptional performance for heating and domestic hot water.

“We are delighted that the team at Secon will be supporting our sales activity both here in the UK and in Ireland.”
