Heating and ventilating solutions at Sustainability Live 2015

Sustainability Live, incorporating NEMEX and Energy Recovery, returns to the NEC Birmingham from 21 to 23 April this year.

Sustainability Live, incorporating NEMEX and Energy Recovery, returns to the NEC Birmingham from 21 to 23 April this year.

Featuring more than 160 participating organisations, the event will showcase a huge range of contemporary heating, ventilation and refrigeration technology and solutions. 

This year’s extensive live content programme will also include 100 expert speakers across four conference theatres, with a practical, CPD certified seminar and workshop programme designed to help operational teams find the best sustainability and energy efficiency solutions.

Focusing on People, Policy, Processes and Best Practice the Energy Efficiency Theatre One will tackle a range of upcoming industry challenges and opportunities. Sessions include a panel debate entitled ‘Maximise your kit and eliminate human error’. Other highlight sessions include ‘How to maximise energy efficiency potential through Energy Performance Contracting’ and ‘The future of renewable heat’.

The programme for Energy Efficiency Theatre 2, which highlights developments in Technology, Tools and Kit, includes workshops and seminars on energy consumption and data analysis, as well as how to cut bills with CHP. Highlight sessions include ‘Energy consumption and data analysis’ which explores monitoring technology and how to make the best use of the energy consumption data. The session ‘Taking the first steps towards onsite generation’ will explore demand and power needs, available technologies in varying settings, financing and payback for those considering the renewables market.

Finally, the Energy Recovery Theatre will offer a packed programme, focusing on the latest technologies for driving on-site energy generation

Speakers include Miles Alexander, director of the Green Investment Bank, Paul Crewe, head of sustainability, Sainsbury's Supermarkets and Dr Nina Skorupska, CEO of the Renewable Energy Association.

This year’s exhibition features the latest innovations in energy and resource management, including metering technology, pumps, lighting and CHP solutions.
