Hamworthy Heating has added a new CIBSE accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar to its training programme.

Hamworthy Heating has added a new CIBSE accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminar to its training programme.

The new course on Domestic Hot Water (DHW) best practice covers all aspects of DHW systems, from sizing to safety and legislation to legionella.

Business development manager for Hot Water Solutions at Hamworthy Heating Kevin Potter, said: “We designed this course with our customers in mind. It is split into five modules so that you can pick and choose your areas of interest. We know that it can be difficult to take time out for training so we hope this tailored approach to the course enables our customers to attend training that is highly relevant to them.”

Those attending the course can learn a useful sizing formula to help accurately estimate the peak load requirements and size DHW for different sectors. It will also explain the different system types, such as vented, unvented and point of use plus the key differences and benefits between direct and indirect fired hot water appliances.

All Hamworthy CPD courses are free to attend and can be delivered at a time and place to suit the customer. Accredited by CIBSE means they have to go through a strict judging panel who review the content for technical and professional relevance, as well as consistency of delivery and added value to the learner. Attendance also counts towards a CIBSE members CPD hours.

Hamworthy’s CPD seminars are delivered by highly experienced HVAC professionals. For more information and to book a course call 0845 450 2865, email marketing@hamworthy-heating.com or visit www.hamworthy-heating.com/cpd.
