Graham plumbers' merchant will be lending its support to Barnardo's in a new two-year charitable partnership, helping to support more than 100,000 children and young people and their families every year.
Graham staff and customers in Scotland have already raised £5,000 at its first charity dinner.
Managing director David Gledhill was at Graham's Coventry branch to mark the start of the 'Go Green' week of fundraising activities. He said: 'It's through the passion and unbelievable effort of our staff that we are able to make the 'together' programme such a successful one. I would encourage our customers to find out what their local branch has planned across the year and if they can - get involved, as it's for such a great cause.'
Barnardo's helps support children dealing with homelessness, disabilities, abuse, alcohol or drugs. With over 400 projects in local communities throughout the UK, Barnardo's staff protect thousands of disadvantaged children and their families every year facilitating and supporting everything from fostering and adoption to schooling and counselling.
