Free energy seminar targets manufacturers

The MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service) is inviting manufacturers to a free seminar that aims to help them combat spiraling energy costs.
Free energy seminar targets manufacturers
The event takes place on 27 November at Molineux, the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club, and will examine the future of energy and advanced procurement, management and generation methods. Hosted in partnership with UPA Energy and Loryan Renewable Engineering, the seminar will outline the growing role manufacturers must play if the UK is to address climate change and energy security.

On the day, emphasis will be placed on the deployment of new technologies and business practices that will help companies to overcome the challenges of energy presented by high costs and increasingly challenging carbon emission targets. Conference participants will gain an insight into current market conditions in the energy sector, methods to improve the procurement and management of energy, and the initiatives available to companies making investments in renewable energy.

The seminar also offers an excellent opportunity for participants to network with their peers and representatives from UPA Energy and Loryan Renewable Engineering.

Managing director of UPA Energy, Paul Faragher, will also be speaking at the event.

The event is free to attend and everyone from the manufacturing sector is welcome.
