Firm resilience- a hot topic at CIBSE conference

How to Secure the Future of Building Services is the burning issue of the CIBSE National Conference 2010 on April 27-28 at London's British Museum.
The two day conference will focus on energy, design and technology resilience with presentations, case studies and debate.

Day one features the presentation 'Scenarios for the future' from Professor David Gann, head of innovation and entrepreneurship at Imperial College business school.

Terry Dix, director at Arup advises on best practice to avoid litigation in his presentation 'Avoid disappointments: do what it says on the tin'. Day one ends with a 'Dinner & Debate' hosted by the CIBSE Young Engineers Network.

Day two focuses on 'Business opportunities and challenges from forthcoming legislation' with speakers including Keith Clarke chief executive of Atkins and chairman of the construction industry council and Richard John, head of Sustainability at AECOM.
