EUA unveils evolved identity

The Energy and Utilities Alliance (EUA), the UK's alliance for energy and utilities, has announced an evolved brand identity and clearer brand architecture designed to reflect the accelerating transformation of the nation’s energy system. The refreshed brand emphasises EUA’s role in advancing energy for homes and businesses by uniting specialist groups, amplifying members’ voices and shaping responsible policy.

The new identity retains EUA’s recognisable logotype while introducing a colour-accented “A” and a distinctive EUA symbol comprising three interlocking, arrow-shaped segments. The symbol represents the alliance’s interconnected strengths and momentum in overcoming the energy trilemma: affordability, security and sustainability.

Alongside the refreshed identity, EUA is clarifying how it presents its structure to the market – moving from divisions to six specialist groups – to make it easier for stakeholders to understand who EUA serves and how members engage through sector-specific communities.

Andy Vine, EUA President said: “As the UK’s energy landscape evolves faster than ever, our members need clarity, insight and a unified voice. Our evolved identity, and the way we present our specialist groups, reflects who we are: an alliance that connects expertise across technologies to drive affordable, secure and sustainable energy for homes and businesses.

“The new logo helps bring our story to life, conveying both progress and purpose in challenging the energy trilemma. What we do today helps shape tomorrow’s future. Across the full range of technologies, EUA and its members will continue to engage in policy conversations, technical forums and the public arena.”

Mike Foster, chief executive of EUA said: “The energy trilemma poses the challenge of our lifetime and there is no single solution to it. That’s why an alliance of specialist groups, bringing together industry expertise, can help policymakers build a platform for genuine carbon reduction, while delivering affordable and secure energy to homes and businesses. Our multi-technology outlook allows us to examine a wide range of options and be open with the public about the pros and cons of each.”
