EOGB announces senior level promotion

EOGB Energy Products, the burner solutions provider, has promoted Martin Cooke to the newly-created position of technical director.

Martin, who has been with the company since 2008, steps up to the board-level position from his former role as technical manager. In his new position, Martin’s responsibilities will include overseeing innovative R&D projects, monitoring quality management and ensuring all technical staff are conversant with the latest regulations and industry standards.

He started his career as a self-employed commercial heating engineer and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. Last year he became one of only a handful of engineers in the country to receive a specialist Master’s degree in Industrial and Commercial Combustion Engineering. He is currently studying for a PhD in Combustion Engineering, specialising in NOx reduction methods in oil fired combustion.
