Eagaheat joins ECA and ELECSA

Eagaheat Electrical Services has become a member of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) and has saved around £15k per year by transferring its Part P notifications to ELECSA.
Eagaheat employs around 60 electricians, who offer installation, maintenance and testing services in domestic and commercial buildings. Its national client base includes local authorities and housing associations.

Eagaheat currently notify around 300-400 electrical jobs per month under Part P of the building regulations.

'One of the main reasons for joining ELECSA was the savings that we could make on the cost of job notifications. With ELECSA we pay £1.50+VAT to register each Part P job, which is around half the cost we were paying before', said Jonathan Littlefield, area operations manager for Eagaheat.

ELECSA is the second largest Part P scheme, with more than 6,000 approved electrical contractors.

'Since the ECA purchased ELECSA almost three years ago, the scheme has gone from strength to strength. Combined with ECA membership, we can offer a competitive package to contractors looking for recognition in all types of work they undertake', said Stuart Carvell, ECA North East regional manager.
