Ductbusters' employee first to complete HVCA Green Book

Jason Philip, a senior supervisor at specialist duct cleaning company Ductbusters, is the first heating and ventilation engineer in the UK to have completed the Heating and Ventilating Contractors' Association's Ductwork Cleaning Green Book Training Scheme.
Ductbusters
Mr Philip, who has been at Ductbusters for 10 years, spent two years undergoing on site training, monitoring, testing and assessment. He successfully completed modules in health and safety, ventilation system and plant items, access to internal surfaces, duct cleaning methods, grease removal and testing and reporting before being granted the award.
The Green Book scheme was introduced two years ago by the HVCA which recognised the specialist nature of duct cleaning work and the necessity for independent training for engineers which could become an industry standard.
