Dual Channel Technology ensures sensor accuracy

BAPI’s C02 sensors are designed to be used in 24/7 applications and do not need annual calibration due to the use of Dual Channel Technology.

Achieving good air quality has always been an important topic but never more so than the world we live in today. All ventilation, controls and BMS systems rely on the C02 sensor to provide accurate information so that an informed decision can be made on the buildings operation.

What happens when your C02 sensor provides incorrect data?

Simple, it means the building management system and ventilation are not working effectively or efficiently and people’s health and productivity is greatly affected…. known as SBS: Sick Building Syndrome.

Majority of C02 sensors use Single Beam Technology and are not suitable for 24/7 applications such as hospitals and care homes as they need to reset back to the factory base level every 24 hrs and they require annual calibration.

BAPI’s C02 sensors use Dual Channel Technology meaning they designed to be used in 24/7 applications and do not need annual calibration.
