Distech Controls expands presence in Sweden

Distech Controls has strengthened its European sales force with the appointment of Jasmin Veladzic as business development manager for Sweden.

Mr Veladzic joins Distech Controls with a wealth of knowledge from his time working in the construction and building controls industries. This includes over eight years of experience working at some of the world's largest manufacturers in motors, power transmission and power generation solutions, as well in automation and energy efficiency products.

Mr Veladzic said: “I am delighted to join Distech Controls. It is a forward-thinking organisation that is leading the way in delivering energy efficient and intelligent buildings. The company’s products and solutions are incredibly smart, yet are easy for our customers to install and use.

“It is an exciting time to be involved in the controls industry with IoT-based solutions creating a new generation of building management systems. I am looking forward to collaborating with our authorised system integrators, and to growing the Distech Controls brand in Sweden.” 

Chris Irwin, vice-president of sales for Europe and Africa at Distech Controls, added: “We have seen tremendous growth this year across Europe, and bringing Jasmin into the business shows our commitment to supporting our existing customers as well as to further growth in Europe. It is fantastic to have him on board and we are confident that he is going to bring his valuable experience and knowledge to the role.
