Taking place in Hall 9 at the NEC Birmingham from 16-18 February, The ACR Show is the only national exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, heating and heat pump sectors.

If you want to meet leading companies exhibiting top brand products; see live demonstrations and get advice on affordable and energy efficient solutions, this particular event is well worth a visit.

In addition to a fantastic line up of exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies, an informative and topical seminar programme will also run in three CPD accredited seminar theatres: the Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Theatre, sponsored by Klima - Therm; the Refrigeration & Cooling Theatre, sponsored by Chemours and the Training & Careers Theatre, sponsored by Toshiba. Sessions include: Are you in control of your Building & Energy Management System; New developments in Refrigerants (HFO, CO2); F-Gas, Elite Project & Future Changes in the Industry; Major issues of interest in BIM; Using refrigeration frequency inverters to save energy and improve cooling quality in air conditioning and refrigeration; Bridging the Performance Gap and Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery for commercial applications.

The decision to add the H&V sectors to the show has won the backing of all the major trade associations, including the Building & Engineering Services Association (BESA) and the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA). FETA’s commercial manager, Martyn Cooper said: “FETA is delighted to be associated with The ACR Show. We are sure that the show and its format will provide essential opportunities for exhibitors, visitors and other stakeholders.”

REFCOM is a long standing supporter of the show. Secretary Stephen Crocker said: “The ACR Show is a key event for the industry, raising awareness and standards by bringing together all relevant parties to highlight and discuss industry and technological developments.”

The Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers (ASERCOM) and the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) are supporting the event for the first time, reflecting The ACR Show’s growing importance in Europe. The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) is also backing this year’s event.

The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) is taking over the Refrigeration & Cooling Theatre for the day on Thursday 18 February for its 2016 conference, which has a theme of ‘Emissions, Energy and Eco-design’.

Andie Chessun, national sales manager for HygroMatik in the UK & RoI said: “As the only national exhibition dedicated to the HVAC industry, it is the ideal place for us to showcase our products and expertise to a wide variety of visitors from different sectors.” Andy will present a CPD accredited seminar in the Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Theatre on the second day of the show, in which he will discuss the various application areas of humidification and the different types of humidification systems available.

John Kelly, marketing manager for Airflow Developments said: “We are delighted to bring the Airflow Duplexvent Commercial range to the ACR show. The ACR show has traditionally been targeted at the ACR sector but with the increase in multi skilling of installers to provide a broader range of services, Datateam’s re-branding of the show to a Heating and Ventilation visitor profile provides us with an opportunity to reach a wider audience of specifiers and contractors who are looking for solutions to address wider indoor air environment issues”.
