Cooper announced as Armstrong UK MD

Steve Cooper has been appointed managing director for pump manufacturer Armstrong UK.

Cooper is now responsible for all the manufacturer's UK operations, with the exception of the specialist high pressure industrial pump business which will continue to be directed by Tom Sykes.
 
As well as leading the UK business, Cooper will continue his group-wide role as director of Renewables and Sustainability for Armstrong worldwide.

His experience lies in offsite manufacture of integrated plant rooms. His company 'Plant Energy Systems' was bought by Armstrong in 2004 and since joining the group, Cooper has led the offsite management division.

Cooper is also leading Armstrong product development in the area of low and zero carbon technologies. The Armstrong group was founded by Samuel Allan Armstrong in 1934.
