A recent survey revealed that 87 per cent of installers and heating engineers highlighted free training as being the most important asset a manufacturer can offer its customers. Therefore, held at Baxi Heating’s Commercial Training Academy in Warwick, the single day courses are free to attend and are packed with useful insights and hands-on experience to ensure maximum learning in minimum time.
With the benefits of both stainless steel and cascade installations well-known across the industry, contractors are turning to these types of installations more and more for reliable and energy efficient heat transfer. As such, the Sirius three range of stainless steel condensing boilers has become a popular solution.
The Sirius three training course covers the installation requirements, commissioning and maintenance of Potterton Commercial’s most comprehensive range of condensing boilers. The stainless steel floor standing and wall-hung commercial boilers are available in outputs from 50 to 250kW and can achieve a cascade output of up to 1MW.
During the free training, engineers will become familiar with single and cascade installation, flueing types and flue accessories, and electrical supply and controls connections. The Sirius three course also covers appliance commissioning (including flue gas analysing and combustion adjustment), how to carry out an annual service, understanding the sequence of operation, using the boiler Human Machine Interface (HMI) as well as identifying faults and accessing fault codes and history.
With the increasing need to lower carbon emissions and boost the energy efficiency of commercial premises, heating engineers that sign up to the free-to-attend Andrews Water Heaters MAXXflo and ECOflo training session will learn how to install, commission and maintain these two market-leading water heaters – allowing them to play their part in delivering efficiency savings, safely and expertly.
Mark Lovegrove, commercial training manager at Baxi Heating, said: “For plumbing and heating professionals, it’s crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest industry thinking and products, and training courses are a great way to build up this knowledge. Installing, commissioning and maintaining any boiler or water heater correctly is crucial to its efficiency and longevity which is why it’s so important for installers and engineers to understand the specific requirements for different commercial heating and hot water solutions to ensure they perform as they should.”
There are also training courses available for Potterton Commercial’s Paramount five and Eurocondense five range of boilers. Andrews Water Heaters also offers the COMBIflo training course.
